Laurel’s journey began at age nine, scouting FSBOs on her bike for her mother, a dedicated agent in Southern Illinois. She earned her license in 1991 and soon joined one of the nation’s first exclusive buyer brokerages—a forward-thinking move focused on putting buyers’ needs first at a time when that was rare. That client-first mindset has guided her ever since. She launched her New Hampshire real estate career in 1999 and, in 2015, began working alongside top-producing agent Joe Leddy, assisting buyers and sellers with over 375 transactions together in 10 years. In 2021, Laurel played a key role in launching Duston Leddy Real Estate, a boutique firm rooted in connection, care, and client-centered service—an ethos that fueled its success from day one. Always drawn to small, values-driven agencies that prioritize people over profit and community over corporate culture, Laurel has found her ideal home at Backbeat Homes. Here, she thrives on authenticity, collaboration, and a people-first approach to real estate. Her clients appreciate her candidness, heart-led leadership, and the ease she brings to every relationship—qualities that make all the difference in today’s market.
